Taco Chop applies for a beer and wine license on Alicia Parkway

Share Copied Email Facebook X

Taco Chop 100% Mexican Grill Inc. applied for a state license to serve beer and wine at 24440 Alicia Parkway Suite B, according to the latest change in the state Alcoholic Beverage Control license list for Mission Viejo.

The application is for a type 41 license, which covers on-sale beer and wine for a restaurant. The state list tags the filing as a new owner or name. An application is a request, not an approval, and the ABC decides later.

Two licenses appear as issued

The state list shows a license issued to California Pizza Kitchen Inc. for California Pizza Kitchen at 25513 Marguerite Parkway. It is a type 47 license, an on-sale general license for a restaurant, which allows beer, wine and spirits. The record gives a first-issued date of March 24, 2005, and lists the status as active.

It also shows a license issued to M.v. Service Centers Inc. for Mission Viejo Chevron Service at 27742 Crown Valley Parkway. That is a type 20 license, off-sale beer and wine, the kind held by a market or convenience store. The record gives a first-issued date of March 19, 1999, and lists the status as active.

One license leaves the list

Smart Cups LLC, at 25732 Taladro Circle, dropped off the state list between two daily exports. Its license is type 07 and was first issued Sept. 3, 2019. The record lists its status as active.

ABC applications are posted for public notice before a decision, and records are in the state database, which can be searched through the license lookup for the Taco Chop application.
