Mission Viejo residents can report potholes, landscaping problems, burned-out street lights and similar issues through the city's Online Service Request System or the MV Life app. The city's Service Request page says the tool can be used to request service, report issues or report a problem that needs to be addressed within the city, and that the MV Life app is available through links on that page.

Graffiti. Graffiti can be reported to the Graffiti Hotline at 949-470-8469, through the Online Service Request System or in the MV Life app.

Sidewalk and street vending. The city's guide notes that sidewalk vending is legal under California law, through Senate Bill 946 passed in 2018, as long as vendors do not violate the Americans with Disabilities Act, and that vendors do not need a city permit. The city says it and Police Services do not have the authority to prohibit the activity. Public Works inspectors check that booths and carts leave 4 feet of clearance for pedestrians. Anyone who sees an accessibility problem at a particular location can contact Public Works at 949-470-3056.

City Hall. City Hall at 200 Civic Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
