The City of Mission Viejo is running a drive-through food drive on Wednesday, October 28, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community & Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way. The Senior Drop-and-Go Food Drive is free, and donors never leave their cars.

Drivers pull up, pop the trunk and volunteers collect the donation. The drive benefits seniors in the Senior Grocery program at the center, which the city describes as support for local seniors on low and fixed incomes with food insecurity.

Suggested items are non-perishables and canned goods: soup, fruits, beans, pasta, rice, peanut butter and cereal. The city asks for no glass and no expired items.

Questions: call 949-470-3062.
